When I bought my house, it was a foreclosure. The recycle bin and trash bin's provided by the city were filled with junk from either the previous owner or the neighbor, almost none of it bagged.
Just got done going through them both. All the various crap is now bagged and tied in 5 55 gallon heavy duty trash bags.
The dilemma: Only two fit in the trash bin. I have no idea if the city will pick up bags set aside the receptacle on the curb. Have to check on monday, their site just says that all waste must be bagged and tied, which it is. If they don't, then I have two options.
1) I can cycle them out over the next few weeks, since the city only picks up trash once a week. This will take time.
2) On Monday, I have to turn in the keys to my apartment. Prior to this, I could throw some of the trash into my trunk and dump it in the dumpster at the apartment complex. Probably not particularly legal though.
Just thought I'd share.
