Went out with my family to one of those all (the meat) you can eat restaurants. As I was chewing (scraping) on the bone of this steak I just had, I suddenly felt like something broke, I was hoping it was a piece of the bone, but it felt too weird to be that simple. A quick inspection with the tongue confirmed my fear, well that, and then having my brothers making fun of how I look now made it clear that I've broke a piece of the number 8 tooth.
It doesn't really hurt, but it does feel weird, and it looks dumb.
Well, I think I'm gonna go look for a dentist now... :(

Yeah, I'll see if I can get some later, right now I don't have the cam.
I'd say about 15%-20% of the tooth is off, and its broken in a sort of a diagonal line across the tooth.
I think a dentist should be able to easily rebuild the missing part, though I'm not 100% sure.

QFT.....

sometimes you gotta know when to say when. i chipped two bottom teeth with one of my top teeth... you get over it. unless the number 8 is one of the top middle teeth, then you gotta do something like that.

Anyway, I just checked, and I think my dental insurance covers that.

eeny way...
Just a short update, got my tooth fixed a couple of days ago. It wasn't that bad really. The whole procedure took about 20 mins. Been told not to eat for 2 hrs. afterwards.
Looks good as originally (some say better).
Best part no anesthesia was required (just a little discomfort).
Best(er) part dental covered it...

I lost about a quarter of my no. 8 when I was a kid. You'd never know though from looking at it after the dentist fixed it up.
