Well that was disturbing. Someone made a debit purchase at RyanAir in Great Britain (i'm in NY).
Considering the one time i made a debit purchase was at my local Stop & Shop a long time ago, this is very annoying. Other then some online linking with 2checkout and paypal, i wonder how the hell someone got my card information.
Bet it's a leak from Greenpoint bank's end.
Edit: Holy Sh!t that just makes sense. Because last month, all of a sudden I received a new debit card in the mail with a letter to activate at an ATM machine as soon has possible. I had until Jan 20 to do it. Since my old debit card expired on 08/08 and my new debit card expired on 09/08, I was questioning why the fvck is Greenpoint/Northfork being so neurotic?
Then when i was onthe phone earlier with CSR, the rep was like, pleeeease activate your new card as soon as possible while we return the funds back to your account.
It MIGHT have been a leak with their database that they are not fessing up to!
