Why not? I get it frequently when I fly. Makes a boring flight a lot more fun.

I would steal it, but I could not pick up any open hot spots at 35k feet.

To answer your question Filezz, I get it all the time when I fly. I hate just reading or listening to music on a flight. WiFi on a flight is awesome, watch some netflix/hulu, troll atot, almost as good as being home!!

you paid for wifi?????

I know it sounds ridiculous, but why not when you happened to be 'unprepared' for the flight without books or downloaded videos...

I can see where he comes from. Sometimes I just want to shoot myself in the plane when I have slept all I could & read the fucking SkyMall book to the EVERY LETER (yes I made it a point to).

I always plan to use the WiFi if it's available, its worth the 10 or 12 dollars just to have access to the net on a flight, I hate flying I really do but internet makes it bearable. Some of you guys are really cheap.

i joined the club on july 4th on the way to las vegas. our american airlines flight from ohare to vegas had wifi, and while it was $12, i promised myself i would try it one time. its actually not that bad, and i was able to pretty much do everything i normally do (email, games, web, skype, etc), but on a tad slower connection. definitely not worth $12 (more like $5 domestically, $12 internationally IMO), but its nice nonetheless.

I'd only consider it if the flight was long enough. Domestic flights less than 3 hours should consider charging less...

How do you get "unprepared" for a 15 hour flight?

On a flight to Australia from Florida? Hell yea inflight wifi is worth $24 for two! Hell I'd pay twice that for a flight that long. I flew from Los Angeles to New Zealand in 98 before there was inflight wifi, and damn I was bored to tears even with music, magazines, and books.

I'm thinking the same. I wasn't aware they even had direct flights like that.
