A few weeks ago bid on a guitar at ebay and it wasn't shipped or even any responses. Finally I got ahold of the seller and he had a pretty dang good reason for being unavailable but by then I found something else and he gave me a refund right away.

This is the new one in transit.

It's a G&L Legacy Tribute Limited with their custom dual fulcrum vibrato. For those who don't know the history of Fender, the owner and master guitar maker Leo Fender fell on hard times and had to sell out. He later started another company with the "L" standing for Leo.

Leo felt that his original design needed improvements and made a few important changes, and the optional dual fulcrum vibe was one of them.

Anyway it's making its tortuous way to me by the end of the month.

A romantic, eh? Funny thing is there's some strange appeal to the idea. Beats the hell out of being a politician.
