I think it happened a couple days ago. And I only have 1 suspect, a professor at my university. I parked in the Staff section this past Wednesday. I always do because the signs say Staff only 8-5 Mon-Fri and I always get there around 5:15, so I'm alright.

But anyways, I had her for Calc 1 a couple years back so I usually nod when I see her, but she's never does it back. Maybe she doesn't like me I dunno. Well anyways this past Wednesday I park as normal, and start walking into the building. On my way there she was and I nodded. She had a really mean scowling look on her after I nodded. Horrible. Kinda startled me. No more nods for her.

So anyways I get out of class, and after I get home I look at my door and notice it. Kinda ticked off. Whoever did it tried to write something but I can't make it out. Here's a couple pics..

I can't make it out. Can any of you?

It looks like "D.A. Cheu and Lexi" to me. Do you know anyone by those names?

BTW, that really sucks - maybe you should start parking in the student section. Do you drive a really nice car?

Do you have any papers from this teacher (where she wrote on them). Time for handwriting analysis :p

That's kind of what I thought, but no I don't. Luckily its not that nice of a car and was planning on buying a new one within a year. This should hurt the trade-in price though.

Ouch. Maybe parking elsewhere would be better? I don't mean that in a mean way, but seriously, park somewhere else because if she did it once, I wouldn't be surprised if she wanted to do it again.

thats ballsy to key that much in a parking lot during the day. I'm surprised no one saw any of it.

I'm pretty sure the parking lots are covered by security cameras. I was thinking of getting in touch with them to see if anything happened while I was in class for the 2 hours, but I'm leaving for 2 weeks of vacation in about 14 hours from now, so I don't think I'll have time to before heading off.

on a related note, is there any conventional method (read: I could do it) for me to get it out? Waxing? anything of that sort do it? It doesn't look very deep.

It looks like they started writing something, but the scratches on the bottom look like random scribbles, where they might have just given up or were in a hurry. I would just get it fixed and move on.

Rubbing compound. PM notfred...he was very helpful when I asked him about removing some scratches on my car.
