I'm in the process of roasting 15lbs of beef bones in the oven. Going to make about 30 pint containers of beef stock. Yes, carrots, onions celery too, not just bones.
Got some SF sourdough starter since I dreamed up a proofer (no thousands of dollars for those. I bought a really nice temp controller, was about $30 bucks. I have it set at 84.5F and attached to a seedling propagation mat in a cooler. Covered the inside top of the cooler with foil for a good seal. According to my research 85F plus or minus a couple degrees is perfect for the SF strains. I'll start making sourdough and levain breads next week.
I decided to add some probiotics to my diet so a bought a couple containers of Dannons probiotic yogurt and a half gallon of whole milk. I have a rice cooker with a yogurt setting so that should be easy peasy.
I was going to make roasted the theme for tonight's dinner, roasted thyme potatoes, brussels sprouts, and garlic and rosemary pork tenderloin, but I have to go out later so that's tomorrow's meal. Tonight omelettes.
BTW, the last seminar I attended shows the latest data on saturated fats- They're not only neutral they are good for you. Butter and lard! go figure.
