Well, built the system tonight. One word, BLISTERING. The install took about 2 hours, I took my time wrapping cables and prepaing the case etc. Running 2K PRO SP2 for the OS. I can't get over how fast this setup is. I upgraded from a 900 athlon on an MSI K7T Pro 2a. I have to thank my pal Anand for a helping hand in this system.

Oh and tyan why did you make the damn fsb jumpers so fricken confusing the 2 jumper set for cpu1 goes one way and the same set for cpu2 goes another for either 200 or 266 bus. Very silly.

Yum yum yum.

Hey bud, congrats! I replied to your post about two weeks ago, when you posted saying you had ordered the stuff (or words to that effect!)

Being that you are the first human being to actually HAVE a Dually AthlonMP Rig, you are hereby charged with Leading The Way and posting the complete array of benchmarks. Please? It'll take you all of 40 minutes of your already semi-non-existant personal time!

Seriously, Zuni, that is one Mother of a rig! Best of luck. Please share your numbers w/us.

Sweet. This is your own personal setup, right?

I guess the next forums server will be a Dual Athly too. Can't wait for the review, I enjoyed the last server farm update review a lot.

Are you using the 440Watt power supply that AMD and Tyan recommend for that system??

I wish I could afford that setup. I'm still waiting for a cheaper motherboard. How come you use Thunderbird and not the newer 1.4GHz?

Anyone knows when they will have a cheaper version of the dual AMD motherboard?

WOW! Very cool indeed. Pushing the envelope makes us all want to drool and think about upgrading again.
