My mobo is dead. The flash didn't take 🙁 even after it said it did. Anyways whats a good motherboard for an athlon with very little stability problems. Since my last motherboard was an asus a7v pos what is your suggestion(s). Im not looking for raid nor anything on board.

I just got a ECS SiS 735 board, still installing it, I'm having a slight problem fitting in the I/O faceplate in my case. I guess that's what I'm recommending.

<< have you considered just getting a new bios chip rather than a new mobo ?? >>

no im fed up with this board its just one problem after another

i'd reccomend 2 from personal experience...
the shuttle ak31a - great, cheap stable, good overclocker.
the soltek SL-75DRV2 - ditto
good luck

I hear great things about Shuttle mobo's concerning stability/ quality. Not much for features, but I hear thier boards are great for people who don't do a lot of tinkering. I just recently chose an MSIk7t266a pro ru myself. Has onboard audio, but is very easily disabled. Very OC friendly, stable, excellent layout, 4 USB 2 ports, and 4 USB 1.1. This board is also economical, and comes in raid and non raid features, with the USB 2 added to the raid version which is only $20 more anyway. Btw,.... did you consider that your problems may be from the power supply and not the mobo?
