Well it looks like I've got a mouse in the basement

So I'm sitting here at my desk and all the sudden hear crunch-munch-crunch coming form the corner... lo and behold there's a 2" long tail hanging and wiggling from between the ceiling tiles along the wall... DOH! The wost part is that our cat is passed out on the couch behind me.
 
I killed a mouse with a bag of candy corn once. I caught it running along to floor boards and grabbed the closest thing to me.
