Hello,

Never thought anyone would be stupid enough to do this....but I was in a computer shop, and some one was trying to get a replacement for a fried ASUS A8N SLI Deluxe MB - they did NOT use stand-offs....the store person laughed at them....served them right! 😀

Had one here a couple of weeks back that plugged his 20-pin ATX power connector into the 24-pin motherboard connector wrong. I can still smell the smoke. 😉
