leadtek 7800GTX....£399 (which includes our vat too!)

now i payed £310 for my leadtek 6800GT and that was after the cards had been out a while...so £399 for what is basically an awesome beast is just awesome

 for nvidia getting it ready to sell on release
 for retailers having plenty of stock and very very reasonable prices

i dont want no "but in US $ thats like 700bux....£399 is a good price for top of line, considering i payed £310 for nearly top of the line 4 months after availability

what makes the Leadtek card even better? ... splinter cell chaos theory and prince of persia worrior full games are bundled

And if thats what you call reasonable, Id hate to see what you call unreasonable.

That makes the X2's look acceptable by way of UK prices.

EDIT: the Smog must be clouding your vision or getting to your brain :(

A 6800GT is not top of the line.

Its not $700 in the US, but the $600 MSRP.

Whats $400 your money, to US dollars?

aye man......:D

well i spent about 2k on computer stuff just for this rig, and though its not fast enough to warrent me getting a PCI-E mobo and selling my 6800GT....its still damn good price... i expected horrible gouging

if it were £500 i probably wouldnt look at it too much, and if it were £600 id be telling them to cock off.

top of the line X2's are what? £750 for the 4800 going down to 400 for the 4200, the FX-57 is pushing £770

now £700 is way to much for me, but at £750 id rather have the top of the line X2 rather than the FX-57

Hey you've got the money, you've got the means, hell, buy two :D

Better yet, buy three, keep two, and send one to me :p

You have a kick-a$$ rig, and that is all there is to it! Great price maybe, but so much power!
