I was thinking about the iphone and how you can hook it up to a receiver (at work) and though well hell what kind of phone would give me access to my music files on my computer (via online access) so I could play them anywhere? Don't want to be laden with multiples mini computers in my pocket so I figured with todays technology there has to be a phone somewhere that can do this. And if not, why not?

I do this with my iPhone using OrbLive. Stream music, videos, pictures, even live tv from my home media center over 3g or wifi.

Your post was kind of confusing, not sure if you meant you don't want an iPhone (or didn't want an iPhone and another phone), but this is an example of what you want and it works well. Orb also works on Windows Mobile phones without a helper application. I believe it works on dumbphones as well if they support 3gp streams.

+$10 in your pocket for not having to pay for an Orb helper app. Fucking app store...grumble...
