Got my new case & fan setup tonight, thanks to Xoxide's sunday deal. Damn them, damn them to hell. 🙂

So, I got 5 of THESE on sale for $1.99 each, which is a pretty hot deal, IMHO. And I also got THIS, no window or anything like that. I don't know what it is, but my current setup is overheating like crazy in my house, unless I keep the A/C set to around 75 degrees or so. I guess a steel superpower case, 1 intake/exaust and a goliath isn't enough for an XP1800 at stock speeds.

Anyways, I got the 4 Xoxide fans for the 2 intakes & 2 exausts, I'll use the stock side intake fan, and I'll put the 5th Xoxide fan on a 60mm-80mm adapter for my heatsink. So now I have my Radeon 8500LE 128 coming to replace my TNT2, the $40 Santa Cruz from Hot Deals to replace my Dragon Plus! onboard sound, and my new case. Hopefully, I'll be a happy camper. 😀

Well, I was digging through old posts, and I figured I'd post an update. The case isn't black, it's a REALLY dark grey, but it looks great. Those fans are NOT 27dB, they're silent as silent can be. I have 2 in the front of my case, 2 in the back, and one on the CPU on a 60-80 adapter, and it's quieter than the ONE fan I had on my heatsink previously (7.2w YS Tech 60mm). The videocard works great, the sound card works great (although Turtle Beach SUCKS for packaging, my card was almost crushed in the box), and get this.... I can actually play games on my PC. Who would have thought?

Best part is: All those old games I wanted to play but couldn't, I get for $1 now. Now, what's this "Quake" and "Doom" thing all the kids are talking about? 😀
