Well I wanted 939 but I am not paying for a $400 Athlon 64 3.5ghz CPU

I was dissapointed to find out yesterday that the 939 will not have a lower end cpu to start with than the 3.5ghz. Unless it sells for $300 and under when the first 6800GT is available I wont be going with 939. All I can say is CRAP! When is the 6800GT pci-e comming out?

Well, the cpu is actaully $500 for the 3.5ghz 939 chipset starting cpu. No thanks. We need a 3.2 ghz at least as a lower option to get started in the 939 chipset. Spending over $300 on a cpu is a huge waste of money IMO these days and I would say under $200 is even better value as long as you get a good upgrade path. CRAP

Before anyone drags this on any further(dang knuckleheads! ), the Athlon64s go by a rating not the actual ghz. The Athlon64 3500+ runs at 2.2ghz.

*edit* corrected for proper ghz of a 3500+

i believe the 3500+ is 2.2 ghz
