yea. i was the same way. b4 i got a cell phone, i used to hate them and bash them all day long. but was forced into getting one because senior year our house didnt have a land line and cell would be my only way of keeping up to date with things.
now my cell pretty much goes whereever i go

the only phone i've had for three years is a cell phone.
it's actually nice - i never get sales calls during dinner (or any other time for that matter) and i'm encouraged to save my minutes (so i have an excuse to avoid talking to my family) and my fiancee and i talk for free (not that we do, since we live together...).
i don't miss my landline at all...but i love my cell.
btw, please don't have some annoying-ass ringtone - a standard 'ring-ring' is sufficient.
/hates hearing some lady's purse erupt in a symphony every five minutes
//hates hearing said lady yack on phone for ten minutes about ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AT THE TOP OF HER LUNGS
///hates seeing said lady drive across three lanes of traffic, nearly killing the couple in the yugo because she's too busy calling back whoever she was talking to in the store
