I had a 12 oz Snickers Blizzard last night from DQ. I thought I was going to get sick off the thing because it was so rich and sweet. Blah....I'd rather stick to an occasional snack pack and bratwurst and leave the icky sweet stuff alone.

Edit-I've had friends who say there is no shame in that but I'm not sure I agree with them. I've seen some of the women they've hit on at bars after a few drinks...shudder.

There was an episode of 'Cooks Tour' where Bourdain went to Scotland and sampled some of their deep-fried delicacies. The cook at some local restaurant or fast food place ( I couldn't tell ) first battered the item then deep fried the thing in a big ass vat of oil. I think there was deep fried deviled egg, frozen pizza ( like those cheap ass Totinos crap we have here but covered in batter ), Mars bars, and a few others I forgot.

in my defense I have been on steroids and benadryll all week. I have poison ivy from head to toe include my eye and the groin region. It was a moment of pure bliss amidst all this irritation, discomfort and itch.

sadly enough it was absolutely fantastic and I don't think it will be the last time i do it in my life.

Lets put it this way. If you arranged the deep fried snickers with some vanilla icecream and a whipped topping and served it to jalba ......she would be urs forever(or at least for the night) and you wouldn't need to say a word.

I'd probably jump off a building if I had poison ivy that widespread - I've had it all the way up and down both my arms before and it lasted a couple months - the skin was literally a mass of blisters that would peel off and be replaced every week or so, and so much fluid was leaking that I would soak shirts and bandages.

I have not been as miserable before or since.
