well I made the MSI k7T Pro 2-A leap.....and what is Fuzzy Logic 3?

I have been toying with buying a new rig for a couple months. And all the buzz about the k7T Pro 2-A boards, I made the leap and ran the debit card with a 1000 T-bird. Although the K7T Turbo (MS-6330 V3.0B ) is due out, I probably won't have the money by the time they come out with it, and well, what if it's a peice of crap? Oh well, in 2 years I'll be chucking this board too. So I am sure the Pro-2A will tide me over.

Say anyone know of vid or sound cards that don't work well with this board?

Oh yeah. What is Fuzzy Logic 3???? It was listed as an additional feature on the MSI website for the Pro-2A.😀
 
Its only good for overclocking the fsb and dont let it do it automatically cus it screwed up my windows and I had to re-install it again.

At present I am not interested in overclocking. Just want 1000 t-bird to humm the way it should. I am going to crank the memory up from the 3 sticks of 128sdram 133's to 3 256 sticks but that will probably do it until I buy n build the next rig. But thanks for the warning and thanks for the link. Both of you have helped.

 
Word of warning.. Don't use the LiveBios flash function either. I toasted my cmos chip with this. I also saw a post where another user had done the same thing.

Followed the instructions exactly and BAM!!
 
Well, I had the exact opposite experience with Live Bios. Worked like a charm. Very easy and very quick. Don`t know why it works for some but not all 😕
 
well I will just follow the enclosed directions and warnings and go from there. If she fries and smokes then I will just have a new one sent until it works, and if it doesn't then I guess I will have to switch to an ASUS which was my initial leaning until I saw all the hoopla about the MIS being pretty damm reliable. So we shall see. (chomping at the bit) I have 3 to 4 more days till the stuff is at my door. Oh me oh my, how I hate waiting!

I`ve used every Live BIOS update from 1.4 to 2.1 with no problems.
