Well I finally got off my lazy ass and did it.

After all my bitching about heath care and not having any insurance at work, I just got done signing up for VA health care.
Now I just have to wait for them to send me the papers, sign them and send them back.

But after all the stories I hear about VA health care fvckups I hope I did the right thing. :Q

BTW: The main reason I did this is during my last eye exam I was told I have too much pressure in my eyes. Glaucoma....

I signed up also and received a bunch of paperwork from them .

They mention that if you have insurance or an HMO don't give it up because their services depend on how much money they have.

Well I could get "green meds" and in Oregon they DO have medicinal marijuana.

Ironically I used to smoke it quite a bit, when I all but stopped THAT'S when my eyes started going bad.

Bad thing is though, the reason I stopped is now it tends to depress me.

Maybe I could get IT AND some anti depressants?

Don't feel bad, I flunked the puff of air test also. Did they put some yellow eye drops in and recheck you?

Yeah, he checked them twice. It must have been pretty bad too, he acted quite shocked.
