) was just getting unbearable for me... I don't have time to wait 45 seconds for each thread to load. Went ahead and got the 1 year subscription for $30. Was it worth it? Probably... it is a lot faster - about up to speed with the other forums I visit, and like the forums use to be like. Wish it didn't come to this but you gotta do what you gotta do I guess.
Now maybe I should start neffing so I get my moneys worth. 😉

 
I've been a happy subscriber since the first day it became available.

forums.anandtech.com is so unbearably slow
 
I'm gonna have fun with this... now I see how you people post 30 messages in the time it took me to post just once. 😉

Edit - BTW now that this is so much faster now I'm constantly opening and closing IE like I use to. But for the last couple months I've noticed that the threads don't refresh like they use to. Before when I'd close IE and then come back in only the new threads would have open folders... now they don't do that anymore unless I logout and back in completly. Anybody else have that problem or just me?

Hmm... logging out and back in doesn't even fix it now. 😕
