Well, I figure I'll have a 1000 in S@H in November

Hopefully that will be a good goal, that way I can join the "K" club 🙂
Hey I started thinking about constructing my own case.
I have a rough idea what I want to do, but I'm sure all of you have some very good ideas. I can integrate any good ideas now before I start. 😛

The outside will be polished hardwood, the inside will be the guts of two towers. It will have 2 power supplies, one is an AT case PSW. This also helps if I plan to add a peltier later, that way I can turn on the peltier by toggle before I start the system. I put in plans for 4" 30CFM fans , two front and two back. There will be 12 drive bays in front and 2 3.5 inch as well. Size H 13" W 20" D 19"
Any input will be more than greatly appreciated.

Good luck on hitting 1,000! You are not the only one with that target in mind. 🙂😀 When in Nov. are you expecting to hit the 1K mark?

The case sounds interesting. I'm a big fan of the Enlight 7237 case. But, it will not hold two power supplies and does not have 12 drive bays.

Not till the very last day!!! 😎

That's pushing it a little, but I am upgrading the herd.

I have the 750a from SuperMicro now. I just get started on little projects to keep myself busy. 🙂

I work as a printer at Bemis Polyethylene Packaging. We make the film and print it for a number of the largest companies in the world who use plastic overwrap. Kimberly Clark who owns Viva and Kleenex are one of our largest accounts. We also do Pillsbury to. All of thier frozen food accounts is enormous.
I work on a WindMoeller and Hoelsher, AsrtoFlex printing press. It's state of the art. It's run by computer mostly.
What's really nice about the whole thing is I make decent money, but the BIGGEST benefit is the time off I have. We work 12 hour shifts. I work 3 on and 3 off, followed by 4 on and 4 off. If you look at that you can see that I have half the year off not including 11 paid holidays and 3 weeks vacation. Figure it up 😛
365 days in the year goes to 183 scheduled days minus 15 days vacation and about half of the holidays fall on work days or 5, totals to ( you gotta love it ) .
163 days a year, I have 202 off!!! MUHAHAHAHAHAHA LOL
