Seriously, WTF? You can't fail at life unless you die. Everthing else is a (possibly painful) learning experience. You can't "lose" at life, but you can give up. Sure, your armor may be gone and your health bar may be flashing. You may be out of ammo and down to using the chainsaw. But you haven't lost. Not by a long shot.
