Maybe ask for cash in advance to be spent in the economy here. What's better than a trickle down economy? A piss down economy. Open the taps.

Any bets that should an illegal immigrant try to cash in on this...he (or she) will just be stuck in a plane to...wherever? "Oh, your plane ticket costs $1500...you now owe us $500."
I see old traitor pcgeek laughing at your post. Such evil filth. Hope he gets offer and accepts it

That's probably cheaper than having ICE track them down and process them. At this point most folks should know that being in the U.S. without documentation isn't going to work long term. Personally, I would have liked to see an amnesty program for people that have been here for x number of years, paid their taxes, and not been on any sort of welfare for more than x amount of years. Unfortunately, no one asked me.

article said:
The DHS will pay for commercial flights out of the US, and then send cash once they confirm they’ve left.
This is *probably* an upgrade to how they arrived here, paying money to gangsters with weapons, and sneak through the desert or woods, etc.

I'd prefer a path to citizenship for law abiding immigrants, but part of obeying the law is doing so, instead of being an illegal immigrant in the first place. If I were to move to a different country, I'd expect to have to do the same, adhere to their immigration laws.

This brings up a related topic. If someone were to take advantage of this deportation payout, does it harm their chances of entering the US legally at a later date? Being caught here illegally does still, AFAIK.

You literally voted against the one party that wants to do something like that. I remember your reasoning being something about not wanting to vote for a senile old man. Just curious but did you see the interview of Trump where he can't understand that a photo his own people photoshopped was... photoshopped? Or the one where he's adamant that Haitians are "eating the cats and dogs"? Or the one where he said gas is $1.90? Or the one where he said egg prices are down over 90%, meaning you'd be paying roughly 40 cents a dozen? Are you paying 40 cents for a dozen eggs?

Let's remember what he really thought was important.

Won't this cause a run for the border from Mexico? That's all it takes for $1000, I'd do it.
If you research this.. it's not the first time someone's done this.

It's a Meloni program.

They trialed it in Italy.. they fingerprinted everyone, got their bank accounts and wired the money 6 months later.. but they made very sure it was a 1 time deal.. the next time around they wouldn't get the carrot, they'd get the stick!

I'd put a fiver on being able to count the number of payouts they make on one hand. This is up there when Russian bonuses for meat wave volunteers.

The Biden administration had no plan and no reason, just let them in and hand them a check. Near the end Joe couldn't even count past potato. You do remember the debate where Joe demonstrated to the democratic party that he was senile? Suddenly they had to shit can Joe and slide Harris into his spot.
Primary? We don't need no stinking primary!
Don't blame me for the incompetence of democrats, you guy's fucked the dog then tried to claim it was consensual.

I am also pretty sure that’s the first time greenman has said anything about being open to an amnesty program despite years of engagement with immigration threads here.

Offering money? Sounds like their grand plans for deportation are failing bigly.

Also, bad idea for anyone to take this money without talking with an immigration attorney. You could really screw up your immigration case or get yourself a 10-year or longer re-entry ban if you're not careful.

I see our resident coward is again ignoring the bipartisan border deal that his Glorious Leader shot down.

I think we know why now..

It would have increased the number of judges so due process would have been faster, but they clearly want to go in the opposite direction.

It's not like this is some mystery, we knew exactly why when it happened; it would have looked good for the Biden admin. It wasn't a secret. Herr Trump couldn't run on his "open borders" lies right after the border deal got passed.
