well I did my good deed for the day

I was walking up my apartment building with my son today when I heard someone yelling. I look up (I live in an 8 story building) to see an old lady yelling at me. She said she was stuck in her apartment, that she had locked herself in. I know the locks for this place, and I know that you cant lock yourself in. But she was old and panicking. She said she wanted to throw her keys down to me, and she wanted me to come up and unlock her door. I didnt want to get into a debate over the lock so I agreed. My son and I headed up there with her keys and unlocked her door. She was very thankful, and explained to me exactly what had happenned. Basically she was checking on the apartment for friend and thought she had locked herself in. She could have gotten herself out, but she was a brick shy of a load. On the elevator ride down she told me she often has new toys, and that she would like to give my son one. I thanked her, but politely declined.

Thats it. Someone else can write cliff notes.
