I saw a PBS program this weekend about how in Cuba, many of those who have cars are still driving classic American cars from the 1930-50s! Since they are very hard to come by and have been passed down from father to son for the past few generations, they are often treated like family heirlooms or even living family members. Owners frequently roll their classic cars into their living rooms in bad weather to minimize the wear on them!

It was very fascinating to see how they kept those cars in pristine condition, making replacement parts from original forms and molds, hand-making chrome bumpers and stuff....

No, but it's not uncommon these days for people to carry around fire extinquishers in their cars... along with other emergency supplies. They come in handy if your car catches on fire or you see someone elses car on fire on the highway or something. You didn't really think the fire department puts out all those car fires on the interstate did ya?

Ofcourse it could always just be a bottle of nawwwwws...
