I don't mean to sound critical, but why would you buy all that nice hardware and use it with a Geforce 2? You would have been much better off waiting 'till your birthday. Then you probably could have gotten a nice video card, granite bay motherboard, and I bet a P4 2.6 will be the price the 2.4 is now.

I am going to be doing some Maya over break(3 weeks) and I am limited right now on what I can do because of my cpu.

$500 🙂 as long as it bring you joy. Crap I too spent more than $500 this past couple of weeks. but not on CPU or mobos
