Wish me luck.. Here in about 15 mins my wife goes in for her last dr's appt.. We will decide if we are going to induce tonight or give it another week.. (due date is the 22nd)

It is kinda weird knowing that the next time I visit ATOT I might be a father!

Btw: We don't know if it is a boy or a girl yet! 🙂 We kept it a surprise -- man that was tough!

Well we are back and I have good news! We are going to let the baby cook a little more, the doctor was worried that at the last appt that since she (my wife) had not made any progress & because she is so tiny (worried that the baby might not "fit") that they were going to have to induce.. Well this week she made some good progress and everything is looking great! We are scheduled for induction next tuesday, but my wife doesnt think that we will go that far.. Thanks for all the kind words!

Induced is pretty sweet, there's no mad dash or anything. We just showed up early in the morning, she got the epidural put in, then the pitocin, and then the waiting...
I made some custom CDs for the event, and one of the songs was indeed Tom Petty's "The Waiting" :laugh:
 
good luck! you will not get any sleep for the next 3 months or so.. but it'll be the best time of your life.. don't forget this time when she's a small baby, cause it goes by really really fast

Not always true... my little girl was the perfect baby and slept through the night from the first day we brought her home.
 
did her belly button pop out yet?

that is how you tell if they are done or not


like those things on a turkey, when they pop out the kid is done
