I will not participate in any war threads anymore, they all turn out to be flamefests, either because my responses are flamed or because i get to carried away...

I am sorry that i have offended some people on this board, e-tech is probably one of them, so is charrison, there are others, well, you all have a right to your own opinion..

I will only say that i hope this war ends as swiftly as possible, with as few people dead as possible, regarding the rebuilding of Irak, i don't think ANY contry outside the coalition should be allowed, and only those who offered military support... (nah, that does not include my country)...

I used to participate in war threads, religion threads, YAGT threads, etc. Then I realize that they're pointless.

This board isn't worth it.
 
Yeah, I am pretty much out of the main threads especially. Too much to wade through, and since I havent anything good to say about this invasion, I have cut way back on posting.

Well, it doesn't really matter, does it? the war will continue, people will still be convinced that it is right or wrong, the discussion is so extremely boneheaded on both sides...

There will be arguments afterwards (in 6-8 months, when the war is over) but all i can say is that the US and the coalition went ahead, all rebuilding contracts are going to whoever they want to give it to, and they have to pay for it too...

That would be giving money from the government to companies in a government matter... it's a kind of socialism... 🙂

Those that are put on a needed vacation should realize that:

Common sense and courtesy will avoid this problem. Also, toss in a dose of maturity.

Many pitfalls in the game of life can be avoided this way.

I've noticed that lately all the war threads MM posts etc.
have really revealed an ugly ignorant shortsighted underside possessed by the right wing zealots.
The board is not as much fun to visit these days. 🙁

Ignore it, the discussion is boring the hell out of anyone who is not on the "right" side here anyways, but it is a fact, and it will be so for some time...

I still like AnandTech, that is why i am back, but some of the crap i have seen in the threads, like 315 posts for and then 12 against and someone says "take it to another thread"...

There is a bias here, you can scream, you can shout, but there still is...

That is why i do not participate in any of those threads...

I tend to get carried away, i have sent apologies where apologies were due, i have taken time off to calm down and be reasonable, i have indeed apologized here and in PM's and i can only hope that people can forgive me...
