I just picked up an Asus A7V133 Rev 1.05 WOA and it booted right up at 133 no sweat with Duron 700@733. I will be installing the hard drive tonight but it looks impressive. The Iwill would not even post with the same processor at 133 no matter what I did. This board has one upped the Iwill already in my eyes.

A7V133 is an excellent board, I'm not saying the IWill is a bad board, just has a few problems.. some of which are being fixed which is good.

Anyone knows where I can find that modded BIOS that enables RAID - I know that the RAID works since I tried it on the A7V and it works. I need it since I am changing to the A7V133 Board soon and I have 2 raid HDs setup in my current system. Thanks

classy,

What new revision(s) did the v1.05 contain? I hear they changed the northbridge fan to a much "quieter" one and enable all the raid options by default. Any truth to this?

I just purchased a A7V133 revision 1.05. I don't think they enabled any other RAID modes. The manual, which was printed in Jan 2001 still states RAID 0 support only! I don't use RAID so I really don't know what would happen with the jumper set to RAID mode. I should have my tbird 1.2/266 on Monday so I can finish putting it together.

A month ago I dropped a locked Duron 700 onto an Iwill KK266, bumped the voltage to 1.80, shut down, switched the jumper to 133, booted to 933MHz. It's been solid since.
