Go to your local wally world on whatever day the refill food stamp cards (used to be 1st and 15th not sure about now) and stand outside for a few minutes. If you are the least bit resourceful you will find plenty of people willing to sell you their foodstamps for 50 cents on the dollar.

The problem is a lot more widespread than your side makes it out to be yet not as bad as the other side makes it out to be.

Truly hungry people, which we do not have in the US mostly due to programs such as this, are absurdly bad for society. You see, real hunger always leads to very desperate actions because the truly hungry people are indeed desperate. Those desperate actions can be seen in any 3rd world shithole that has actual hungry people. While I have seen the system abused, the actual dollar amounts are so insignificant that its not even worth thinking about ending them and putting society at risk of those desperate people.

As such, I don't want them spending $2 of my tax dollars to save $1. Since you appear so burdened by this entire thing, perhaps you'll chip in more of your own money to help fight it. I mean, if that's the way you really feel about it, then you should be willing to do that.
