Welcome to the TeAm Baker-Tech 😀

Thanks for helping us become an even better Seti TeAm 😀

Arrghh.
Try two.
Sorry, I'm such a nOOb at this kinda stuff.
Thanks for the welcome.

Anandtech.com has been my home page for the last three years, I welcome and use their reveiws. Consider my cycles a small payback, so that you can continue to do the voodoo that you do so well.

For those who care...
I am the Owner-Head Tech of a one-person computer store, in the tiny hamlet of Selma, Ca. No, I'm not trying to sell you anything, because, you are probably a DIYer and not going to be interested in my services. And I can't get anything cheaper than you can. 🙂
My computer is a: Athlon XP1900+ (running at 1900+), an Abit KR7A-133, 256MB PC2100 DDR, SB Live 5.1, Radeon AIW, 93 GB's of storage, DVD, CD-RW, 19" ViewSonic monitor, WinXP, oh and high speed access thru Sprint Broadband. Plus 9000 mp3's. (I used to be a radio DJ). On the lighter side, I am the Publications Whip for ConJose (www.conjose.org) and the "Official DJ" for BayCon (www.baycon.org). (Gad's this is reading like a lonely hearts ad, sorry 'bout that.)

Now....
Lets go find the future.....

Gary

<< welcome to the team (9000 mp3s :Q ) >>

I have over 1000 CD's. Ripped 'em back in the day when 4X was the encoding speed limit. Took months. 😛
Now, I could do it all in a week.

Does "back in the day" perhaps mean pre-modern LAME (as in v3.91 or newer)? You have 9,000 MP3's encoded with *shudder* Xing, Blade or some version FhG?? :Q:Q:Q

[Kurtz voice]The horror. The horror.[/Kurtz voice]

If you ever decide to re-rip and encode them please remember to use proper tools. 😉

Anyway, welcome to the TeAm BakerdashTech. 😀

Now if you're gonna be on this here SETI TeAM there's to be no more ripping CDs. Takes too many cycles away from the important business at hand!:Q:Q

Just kidding, you can rip 1 CD per week per TeAM rules right Smokeball?😀😀

Welcome to the TeAM Baker-Tech 🙂

Welcome aboard,

I get out to my home office in Petaluma about once a quarter,
I have a routine where I visit at least 2 or 3 Fry's on the south side and I've been
wanting to make a side trip to Sequoia.
I will call you for coffee when I drive by.
