Thank you, Thank you 🙂 🙂 🙂

questions, I have dual cpu, and I am using that smp version but is there a way for it to show up? also, how come it alway use 100% of my CPU, will it use less cpu power when I play game? Thanks.

Not sure about the SMP question, but ECCp, like most Distributed Computing projects, uses 100% of the FREE CPU cycles and gives them back if any other program needs them (about 99.9% of the time)...🙂

There will be a small lag for a few programs, but you'll never notice them on most....if not all! 🙂

Again, welcome and enjoy! 🙂

Next: Someone answer the SMP question! 😀

the SMP version is really poorly optimized...

its best to run two copies of the non-smp client, in two seperate directories....

you can run to command line versions, or one command line and one graphical user interface version
(two cli's or one cli and one gui)
but you cant run two guis at the same time

there are optimized versions for each kind of cpu, which should be available at the sites linked to above
someone will come along with a more informative answer

welcome to the team!
