Ouch. Mine was a 17" CRT. . .

The colors were starting to fade if you know what I mean. . .

Well, I can vouch the ones that staples has now for 169$ are really nice. I know it doesn't have DVI, but hey, I'm not hardcore or anything. Just wanted something easier on the eyes. There are no dead pixels on this, and it has a 3 year warranty which is nice.

Something like that. . .

I've recently really got into photography, so it was a real bummer. I'm flipping through some of my pics full screen and it is like nite and day. As I said, I can see!

Porn tends to look that way.

I got my first LCD this year....but it was replacing a beautiful 21" flat screen Trinitron, so my hesitation is understandable.

It's not as vibrant as the Trinitron, or as good in games, but at least it fits on my desk:)

I've been using the same 17"lcd for 5 years or so. Now I want those gigantic 20+" widescreen dells... well, a man can dream.

Nor do I.

Still have a probably 8 year old Sony 19" 420GS trinitron moniter for my main computer, and an Iiyama 22" 510 for my work computer.

Still happy as can be, is there any reason to upgrade?

Thanks though for reminding me to do a degauss and image restoration on it. :D

or 2 21" Gateway lcds. Been using an LCD for about four years or so and they get better with newer versions.

My computer is next. I'm running a socket 754 sempron 2600 64. . .

I've got my eye on a high end Celeron D now . . . better at video editing. . .

That's alright. I didn't switch to LCD until last year. Of course, I made sure it was awesome. 2005fpw ftw.
