You've been missed.

<--- got rid of freebsd on main computer and reinstalled Gentoo.

As much as I like FreeBSD (still installed on a few servers), I'm finding that Linux is actually a better desktop.

Agreed. Java and Flash don't perform very well on FreeBSD unless through the Linux binary compatiability layer.
