Well, my first WU has just been completed at a time of 8hrs 50mins (it's only a Duron 700 but it's better than nothing 🙂) and on Feb 28th I will be proud to be part of the team that whooped DSLReport's butt 😀

BTW I will be away for a few days over Christmas and I only have 56K modem, so no permanent connection to the internet.
Is there a way that I can download multiple units in advance for my comp to process while I'm away?
 
sup. Ok i'm fairly new to the seti stuff. I have a tbird 1.2 and i want to get the most out of it in crunching numbers so i d/l this client:
"CLI - Best client to use, especially with the other addon programs. Works in 9x/ME/NT/2K. Win95 machines need the Winsock 2 update."
is that the best one for a single computer running 2k? Also is there anyway to run it as a service or get it out of the taskbar some how?

Also, i signed up to help with the dslreports competition. Is there anything i need to do besides already signing up for the anandtech team?

AdamDuritz99, you want to run SETI Driver. It manages the CLI and puts it down in the systray. If you want SETI Driver installed as a service, that can be done too. 🙂 Links to both are in my help thread (sig).
