I have pretty much the same thoughts about all peicings, including ears. They're all conceptually the same - stab holes in yourself because you think it looks cool? WTF? Does that make sense to other people?

It might not make complete sense, but sometimes it does look nice.

I have three holes in my left ear and 6 in my right. I got all of them, except for the original two, in one day. It hurt like hell. I was going thru some kinds of pre mid life crisis or something... anyway... the right side swelled up and got infected and took months to heal. Dont know what I was thinking.

now... I just keep little studs in them cause i have been thru so much for them, i dont want to just let them close up and have it all be for nothing.
