Weirdest 9800 pro problem ever...

Works perfectly with d3 and Prince of Persia...

But weird corruptions (square patterns all over averything) in hl2 and CS:S(and pink textures :confused and farcry...

Unless, and this is the really wierd bit, i alt-tab out of the game and then back in, in which case in runs perfectly...

Can anyone explain this, and a possible fix (running latest Cats and a dual monitor set-up in Windows)?

Drop back to an older version of the Cats, one you know didn't give you any problems before. Sounds like a driver issue.

I've heard a lot of people say the latest Cats aren't so good for the 9xxx cards, they have worse performance and what not. I'm using 5.3 on my 9800p, and it doesn't give me any problems.
