So I burned ::cough:: legal copies of the Sex & the City episode for my GF by season onto some DVD+R's so she can watch them on her lappy anywhere. Well, on one of the particular DVD's when she plays an episode it will entirely randomly play the entire video stream UPSIDE DOWN. She can restart that particular episode and it will still be upside down. Going to a diff episode on the same DVD, no problem. Goes back to the episode that plays upside down, sometimes it will be right side up, sometimes not. I popped the DVD into my Thinkpad (she has an HP ze4325 btw) and it played all episodes fine, also in WMP10. She has WMP9 on her desktop still and it has played fine on there.
Not trying to "solve" this problem per say, I just want to know WTF is going on 'cuz I've never seen anything like that. Just a weird WMP10 glitch w/her install?
The only relevant info on her lappy is that a couple months back I did a fresh "restore" of XP Home, updated all available drivers (including mobo BIOS & CDRW/DVDROM firmware), and loaded SP2 & WMP10 w/out a hitch. Any thoughts would be appreciated....
