Weird WMP issue...

At the beginning of every song, for like a second or two, the playback is sluggish, but then it's fine. At first I thought it was just because I was running stuff, but it does it regardless of what I have running, and when I've got plenty of resources available. It's also weird because it does it with EVERY song, not just certain ones.

No other player I've used (Winamp 2.91 and 5, iTunes) do this, just WMP9, and I've gone through all the settings and can't see anything that could be causing it.

Anyone have any ideas?
 
It's not my system. I've got a AMD 2500+, a gig of RAM, 260MB of HD space, and a Ti4600 GF4. This only started happening within the last week or so.

And I'm not using anything backgrounds or anything. Just the playlist and album info. Oh, and volume levelling, but when I turned that off it still happened.
