Weird WinXP 10/100 and Firewire networking problem.

I just hooked my laptop into the network but for some reason, the damn thing won't access the workgroup that I put it in. The workgroup just won't open.

It gives me some weird stuff like "You do not have permission" and crap like that. Any ideas?

I tried with 10/100 and Firewire/IEEE1394 networking. Neither works.

I'm hooking through a hub for the 10/100 and direct for the Firewire. The account name on both computers is the same. Do I need to add something?
