Weird Windows Activation Problem

Ok so I just finished activating windows. However, a problem occurrs when I try to goto windows update to get my updates. It says that I need to activate windows in order to get updates, BUT I JUST FINISHED UPDATING!!! anyone know what to do or had this problem before?
