Weird WHS11 installation issues

I picked up a 128gb ssd and decided to do a fresh install of whs11 on it. The installation process went smooth, got everything set up and started updating everything. After everything was updated and installed, I plugged in all my hds and fired it up. Everything worked fine, hd drivers installed succesfully and I thought I was good to go. I installed Plex and Adv. Admin Console via the Dashboard on a client pc and decided a restart was in order. When I restarted, my case fans would spin, but the cpu fan would attempt to spin then stop, then the system would shut down and attempt to restart. It was just going into this loop of attempting to start up, fans spin, sounds like the hds are spinning, then everything would stop and attempt to start up again. I'm wondering if my psu is up to snuff. Here's my specs:

intel g630
antec 400w eco psu
4gb gskill ram (basic not ripjaws)
128gb samsung 830ssd
2 1tb samsung spinpt f4's
1 tb seagate barracuda hd
2tb external seagate drive (for backup) connected via usb. 2.0

When I power the unit down completely, and power it back up, everything starts fine. When I hit the restart button on my case, it also goes into a loop. Any help would be appreciated on this.

The other issue I'm having is with the whs11 connector trying to update. I installed the connector software on a laptop and my main rig, and it's attempting to update on both and has issues. It keeps saying the connector is attempting to update and to restart the pc to complete the installation, but when I restart, it attempts to update again and then says the same thing. When I try to access the launchpad, it attempts to connect to my server, but after awhile, it states that it appears the server is offline (it's not, I can see it on my network and I can remote desktop into the server). Not sure what to do about this either.

EDIT: If it makes a difference, both my main rig & laptop are running w8 right now.

Your hardware question would likely be better served in one of the hardware subforums. Feel free to cross-post in this case if you'd like
