So I bought one of those Apex TV's from Wal-Mart and hooked it up to my Radeon 8500LE via S-Video, and it the display works GREAT except for this sort of white blur that keeps going from the bottom to the top of my screen on the TV. I tried a different video card, and no difference. I've tried different resolutions and different refresh rates. Everything works perfect except for these white blurs.

Anybody have this problem too? Thanks . . .

I used to have that problem....its interference ....thats what others have told me anyways. I kinda felt that was right because I was using a S-video connector from radio shack from my old DXR2 decoder to a 50ft. S-video cable that ran to my TV. This problem didn't go away when I started using a DXR3 which only required the 50ft. s-video cable. I'm assuming you need a better s-video cable....one that is better shielded.

Yes, definately interference or noise. Not much you can do about it except what GT578 said, get better sheilded cabling or a lower gauge (lower the gauge, the thicker the cables).

Try Radio Shack and see if they got some good cables. Don't for out for the hella expensive Moster Cable or other branded rip-offs.
