In the past few months (forgot exactly when it started) I've had this weird lag issue. Here's an example: I can open IE and go to anandtech (or any other page) fine. Stuff scrolls fine and everything. If I click that banner on the top (which opens a new window, not tab, to Newegg's G.Skill stuff) and try to scroll down, the page "lags" (almost flickering page update rather than the smooth and seemless way it should be; this happens no matter what new window I open.) I know a LONG time ago, I had that issue with certain graphics driver versions. Unfortunately, I seem to have the latest from nVidia for Vista 64: 180.48. Am I out of luck? I have an eVGA 8800 GTS 512 and this happens in both IE7 and IE8 beta (wasn't always like this, used to work fine a long time ago.) Long story short, I have to use IE due to my work email situation so I am not interested in fixing the problem by using another browser.
