Weird Visual Basic Problem

Greetings everyone,

I have just installed VB 6.0 on a friend's computer and it crashes everytime I try to switch to the code. I can make command buttons, text boxes etc.. but everytime I try to open the code box of an object.

I have reinstalled it multiple times and it still gives me the same problem..crashing everytime I try to open the code box.

So the next thing I tried was to use the CD to install on another computer and it worked fine. So, it can't be something wrong with my disc.

Any suggestions?

I actually installed VB .Net before this and did not successfully complete the installation. I am not sure if that my be the cause?

Let me know if any of you gurus out have any solutions. Would appreciate it!

Thanks!!

It might be the fubared install of VB.net. I'd uninstall VB6 and try to get VB.net to fully install. If you still want VB6.0, then properly uninstall VB.net and reinstall 6.0
