Ive had my system for about 9 months. I have a weird video issue that has happened since day 1. I have just been too lazy to try to solve it.
Monitor is Dell 2001
FP. Video card is an XFX AGP Geforce 6800GT. Connected via digital cable.
Problem is that whenever I come back from standby or hibernate, video does not totally come back. The monitor is no longer in sleep state but shows blank screen. I HAVE found that by switching resolution via toggling to a second desktop and back again, I can get the video to come back. Ive reinstalled OS and switched drivers plenty. Always the same so I think its hardware related.
The other thing that happens SOMETIMES, is that sometimes during a game, it will "blank out" for a second, and then come back. Not too often though, just once a week or so.
Any ideas or similar issues?
