Yes, because every creeper you heard about on the news story begins with "you know, i met him and TOTALLY thought he was a pedo, totally gave off those creeper vibes but I still was down with my kid being around him." You can't tell, it's always "he was such a nice guy.. Just a regular guy." Listen, we all prejudge and his SINGLE status and no kids are enough for me, the back tattoos are an extra warning sign because i'm a firm believe that excessive tattoos are a sign you shouldn't supervise my kids because I don't trust your decision making process..
Then do what I already mentioned in post 19 and step the fuck up and take an active role in the organization. Oh wait instead you would rather deprive your two girls of a great time with possible life changing moments and then proceed to piss and moan about the situation on ATOT.

What are you going on about? Why would I take an active role in an organization I barely know anything about? Where is this passion to give back to the girl scouts coming from, I've never pretended to have it... Also, it's no all or nothing choice - If there weren't dozen of troops within miles from here there's hundreds of other activities they could do. If this particular organization fails because there aren't enough people "stepping up" (as if it's some patriotic duty) then let it fail, there are other ways to spend time. Sheesh, such melodramatic nonsense. I continue to think it's a little odd for a single guy to volunteer for a children's organization if you yourself do not have kids, what's so difficult or controversial with that? I didn't say that he shouldn't be allowed to do whatever the hell he wants, just was sounding off if others would be uncomfortable as well.

i remember him making all these threads about his deep-seated distrust of the midwest US, LOL
Well, these days it's less distrust and more complete indifference to the existence of that large stretch of nothingness and boredom. Sorry you were born there, it's not your fault.

Hey don't snap back at me man you're the one who posted the OP. You think my wife knew anything about the BSA when she was asked to step up and take a leadership role? Hey man make whatever excuse you gotta make to justify your stance I really don't give a shit just don't put that on me or any other poster.

The OP is obviously a douche in real life and probably hides under the bed at night!!
