I've been an outlook user for years, but recently I've been trying to move to freeware whenever possible. I installed thunderbird last night and eventually got my outlook 2003 inbox imported to thunderbird (after first exporting to outlook express). But the one quirk that bugs me is that I can not figure out how to make new messages visable in my inbox.
For example, I see the icon in the system tray, so I double click it to see the new mail. Thunderbird opens up, but I don't see any unread email. But if I scroll down then I can see that there is indeed a new message. In outlook (and outlook express) old messages automatically scroll up showing the new emails.
Is there a setting in Thunderbird to fix this? If I can fix this, I think I'll stop using outlook for good.
