I have this motherboard with a 3800 and it is acting really weird. It is stable and all but it keeps locking the cpu multiplier at 10 so instead of getting the normal 2.4 it is running at 2 gigs. I dsabled the cpu kool and quiet thing since the first time I fired the motherboard. I have to oc the board to get the 2.4 gigs but after some reboots it will kik the 12 multiplier and will not boot. I do not know why it is doing it :( Any help will be apreciated
the rest of the system:
2 512 ddr2 533 samsung
radeon x800xt.

well it seems it is because of a faulty shipping bios so I will update the bios and see what happens :)

How do you like the Tforce 550? I was considering buying one. Have you tried overclocking?

It is nice and very stable. I have a 3800 AM2 and so far I have it at 2.64 gigs with 1.375 v with 533 memory running at 298 and it is stable. I will try to bunr it in for a couple of days (so the artic silver settles and try for higer) Really nioce board and for the price is great. Realy decent oc options on the bios :) I think that the onbard diode is faulty though since when I boot up and go into the bios the cpu temp is 20 c :) and the included software to monitor the temperature does not work and the nvidia tool does not register the temperature either. Only the volts and fan speed.

Sounds reasonable. I ordered one. I'll see if I can top HardOCP's lame overclock. :D

Up to 2.76 at 1.47v and the memory is running at 309 from 266 :) It is really stable and great board. I am really spectical about the tempereature though. It is at 28c with air cooling :)
