Weird thing happening in iTunes 7...

Firstly, I know this should probably be in the software section, but this is really getting on my nerves and I wanted a few people to see it.

I have iTunes 7.0.2 installed. I like it quite a lot, except for one thing which seems to be happening to a few albums. Basically, the tracks on some albums will appear in the wrong order, even though the track numbers are correct.

This picture explains better than I can...

I have tried re-entering the ID3 info for artist, track etc for the whole album to make sure iTunes knows its the same album; ticking 'part of a compilation' etc and removing then adding the music from the library, but I can't seem to get rid of it.

Anyone experienced this problem, and if so managed to sort it out?

Many thanks,
Rick

Click the column header for the far left column to sort it by that attribute...?

If I did that it would put the first track of every album I have, then the second and so forth (its from a list of all my music).

Basically I like to have my music sorted by album name. I have Lemon Jelly's '64-'95 at the top of the list and Kings of Leon's Youth & Young Manhood at the bottom, if you get my drift.

Right this is strange... I clicked through the Album headers. What I am used to having it name is "Album ^" so all my albums are sorted by their names. If I click it again it's "Album by Artist ^", which sorts it by Artist, then Album. This seems to fix the problem, but puts my compilation albums in odd places. When I go back to sort my "Album ^" it screws up again. W-T-H!

Thanks for the help though, seems to be a half solution there.
